General Information
Thanks to both our Local Council and Billing Aquadrome, Northampton and District model Boat Club have excellent sailing venues for 2008.
The club now sails at Abington Park and Billing Aquadrome.
Abington Park - We have started to meet at Abington Park on Sunday afternoons and will extend this to Wednesday afternoons as the weather improves. We can be found, at present, on the pond nearest Abington Park Crescent but may also use the boating lake just off Wellingborough Road.
Billing Aquadrome- We normally sail at Billing on the alternate Tuesday evening to our club meeting. The lake here is very large and deep. We have held the MPBA multi-racing events here and the venue is ideal for weekend visitors’ as camping and leisure facilities are available on site.
